Trump Continues to Dismay
Eugene Robinson, in a recent Washington Post opinion wrote; "The Court of Mad King Donald is not a presidency. It is an affliction, one that saps the life out of democratic institutions, and it must be fiercely resisted if the nation as we know it is to survive."
I had high hopes for Mr. Trump going in. A friend had interviewed him back in the 90s, and was impressed by him, and assured me that he would make good Presidential material. After his first bit of 'tweeting', and his use and abuse of a twitter account, I wondered when the 'adulting' would begin. I'm just hopeful that there are enough checks and balances in our government, that Mr. Trump cannot do irreparable damage. Quite frankly, I do not see Mr. Trump completing his term as President. I'm ashamed of his behaviour.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
