I'm not sure what the plan is for my son. But he isn't going back to school this year. I guess I should take some comfort in the fact there is no draft. Although I'm not sure how well he would fair with the military. He really doesn't accept authority from much of anyone. I hope he finds a direction soon. Getting a GED would be a good first step. Without a High School Diploma I don't see things going well for him. Sad part is, is that he is a bright lad.

I'm not sure where I saw this, but it amused me, and made such perfect sense. The idea is to have a chamber that the passengers enter, and, if you have an explosive on your person, it will detonate. Seems like a problem solved issue. The biggest problem is, that you would need at least two chambers. In case you needed to 'clean" one of the chambers while the second on was in use. It just seems like a 'win, win situation'. Those individuals wishing to sacrifice themselves for allah, can do just that. Although they will not be taking any innocent individuals with them.

It would seem that one of my childrens'  teachers has some issues. I don't know if it is short people issues or what. But this particular teacher is known to be a hard case on giving out A's. Seems this teacher seeks out reasons to not award an "A" for a students accomplishments. Seems a little childish to be this way. But that isn't my call. I'm just trying to get a couple of kids through school, with a minimum amount of pain and anguish. The weird part is that this particular teacher was in High School the same time that I was, and I don't really remember this teacher having any issues that would lead to this kind of behavior.
