Packy's Place

Just got done looking at my son's grades again for this year. They aren't final, but it isn't looking good. If he doesn't magically come up with some points... he's going to flunk a couple of classes. If he doesn't get a grip on school work now, I'm not sure how he's ever going to graduate from High School. His mother and I can't keep dragging him through to get his work done. I'm guessing his mother isn't going to put with this much longer. It will be either Sink or swim. Heck, he even lost the A he had going in math. Not sure how he dropped the ball on that one. I love my son, and wish for him to be successful. With his study habits, I am concerned for this success. I keep thinking he needs to practice "want fries with that", or something else on par with it .

Well...I just took a look at my kids grades on line. Not looking good. I thought he was happy with band. But that is a D... and I don't know if it can be pulled out. Then of course, it seems he is flunking advisory. Damn, I didn't even know they graded that. With only a few weeks left in school, it isn't looking good. He'll pass of course. He's got an A going in Math. And then some C's, but geez I wish his care factor was higher.

I've created some odd bits of software over the years. If you check the about box, in a windows program, and find a picture that looks like this hidden there. Then it's one of my odd bits.  

I'm not exactly sure why I'm bothering to start a blog. I guess because I clicked on the button in Picasa. :) Possibly not the best reason, but it certainly made it easy to get started. If I find that I want to share things with friends, and family I'll begin directing to this spot. Otherwise, this may become one of the well kept secrets of the Cyberage.
