                       He's been inaugurated.  Let's not forget the sweet numbers that Papa Joe left us.   Can hardly wait for the DJT show to commence He's already talking about taking back the Panama Canal. Renaming the Gulf of Mexico has been mentioned. 

 Donald Trump has won the 2024 Presidential election. I don't understand, knowing the many things that he is guilty of having done. How someone could think him Presidential material. He nearly wrecked the economy the first go around. It is insanity to give the man a second chance at it. Plus he threatens cuts to welfare funding and social security to help bolster his billionaire buddies pocket change. I am not anxious to see how this unfolds.  He has said we wont have to worry about voting the next go around. He will be a dictator, and there will be no voting. He aspires to have the power that his war criminal buddy Vladimir Putin has. I can only hope we have enough pushback from our own military that this can't happen. I'm afraid for my country. 

 Donald  Trump attempted to award himself the Congressional Medal of Honor The Draft Dodging pampered child thought that would be a good idea. He thought that the nations highest military award should be his. The Congressional Medal of Honor is awarded for , Conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life, above and beyond the call of duty. This from the same man who tells some national golf registry that his handicap is lower than Jack Nicklaus. He is a liar, and has no respect of anything, or anyone. I am ashamed he was ever President. I have no words to describe the feelings this despicable individual brings to bear.

 Donald Trump took the same oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States that I did when I joined the Military. Clearly he didn't understand what that meant, but over time it has become clear that there is much that Donald Trump doesn't understand.  It would seem we would have been better off leaving the game show host in place. He was clearly functioning at maximum capacity at that point in time.

Diesel snow shovel  The first of the year has looked a bunch like winter. This is me with the diesel powered snow shovel. We've gotten quit a few inches over the last few days.  The wife likes to run the tractor so she's been keeping all of our driveway clear. Not an easy task, and a huge pain without the diesel shovel.  Road closures and snow drifts. Even local snow crews are having trouble keeping up. Although, for all I know, they are running short handed just like Wendy's.  Here's hoping 2022 is a little more 'user friendly'.

 It's almost the end of the year, another new variant... i'm not sure I've kept track of the names.. The most recent is Omicron, and i remember a Delta, and perhaps lambda.  This variant, Omicron, transmits more easily and quickly. It is said the symptoms are not as severe as previous variants. I have not gotten my booster shot, but I have gotten the two previous vaccinations. Things to do. May the goddess bless us in this upcoming year. We could use some good luck. Since it looks like we have accelerated the thawing of the polar ice caps. It's only a matter of time before the Zombie Apocalypse is real thing.
